Run by some of Ningbo’s most experienced and qualified chefs, Kylie Hotel’s foremost restaurant “City in Flower” offers a buffet breakfast, lunch and dinner.  At “City in Flower” we serve many famous local and national dishes, diligently prepared by our experienced restaurant staff.  With 32 private rooms, and a seating capacity of 500 people, we can cater to all your dining needs, from a private feast, to a conference or even wedding dinner.

Through hard work and our chef’s amazing skills, many of Ningbo’s ancient local specialties have reached a culinary perfection at Kylie Hotel’s “City in Flower”.  Some such delicacies include: Sliced Goose Liver, Fenghua Taro Milk Jam, Crab with Soy sauce, Sautéed Crystal Shrimp, Ribbonfish in Soy sauce, and Steamed Rice Bun with Sea Moss.  Many dishes have won prestigious awards such as “Stewed Crab with chopped potato”, which received Top 10 Ningbo people’s favorite dish prize, “Frittered Sea Moss with Sesame” which was awarded Top 10 Ningbo people’s favorite desert in 2006, and “Steamed Bun with Egg-Apple Stuffing” which won top prize in Zhejiang Cooking Skill Competition.

Akitaya” restaurant specializes in authentic Japanese cuisine and barbeque food.  With the skill of our Japanese chefs, traditional Japanese cooking is allowed it’s fullest expression as an art, with dishes pleasing in taste and to the eye.

Our Executive Chef, Mr. Wang Mengjun, also enjoys the position of Ningbo Hotel Chef Association Chairman.  Mr. Wang supervises both restaurants and prepares elegant dishes, some of which are shown below.
